Workday is a cloud-based enterprise management software application producer of human capital management HCM and finance applications. Its primary application is Workday Human Capital Management HCM which manages workforce planning compensation benefits workflows and reporting. It also provides Workday Payroll for paying workers in the United States Canada UK Ireland Australia New Zealand and Italy.
Workday Tool is based on cloud technology and it is the only tool that gives you more than one access type. You can select from three different types of access.
This Gives you limited time and a specific set of data. The data set includes information about your own positions people who are your direct reports or who have manager restrictions in place. You can also see information about your organization including all organizations down to the primary organization level.
This Type of access provides you with all business processes within Workday but requires that you enter a security code when accessing them. The security code will change daily preventing anyone else from entering the same code at a later date to gain access to these processes.
Full Access is unrestricted giving you full visibility into any area of Workday including other users who have entered a valid security code for this level of access. Full Access comes with an expiration date when it must be renewed by paying for an additional training session which lasts approximately one hour per user being trained and covers only areas used in day-to-day operations not advanced features or configuration options beyond those used by dayto-day workers.
